Hi there! I am excited to provide this website to support my students of past and future, and all those who might benefit from the resources I’ve developed over a twenty year career.

I have proudly served the kids and families of the Cupertino Union School District as a seventh grade core teacher at Lawson Middle School, since the fall of 2008.

From 2011 - 2017 I taught writing to 5th graders at the De Anza College summer school program.

In 2018, with the help of the parents of the Lightning Road and Trail Run Club, we founded the Adventure Studies writing and trail running summer camp. In 2019, it transformed into an online workshop and weekend adventure group which lasted through and beyond the pandemic.
